The social impact of British Petroleum is not as sexy as Lindsay Lohan's finger nail, but it sends the same message. What about 12,000 more condos, houses, and apartments as well as 1 million square feet of offices and stores right along the front of an already overdeveloped bay area?

BP told Jimmy what to do with his cheeseburger. So why is it that the same British corporation that has destroyed U. S. coastline has the power to tell American citizens what not to do on their own land?
